Young Entrepreneurs Contest

The contest “How to Feed Kazakhstan” was established by the Enactus Kazakhstan national office and the Raimbek company. Its goal is to promote the development of the youth’s entrepreneurial initiative in solving the food security problem in Kazakhstan.  

The Enactus teams from all regions of Kazakhstan can participate in the contest with prize money of 1,5 mln tenge.

The contest is to be held from December 2015 to May 2016.

First stage – from December 1 to March 1.

Second stage – from March 1 to May 15. 

Assignment for contest participants:

To develop a draft project on establishing an enterprise on manufacturing/processing/logistics/marketing of agricultural products in the participating team local region.

The proposal should meet regional features, be innovative, original and easily scalable.

Winning Criteria:

- idea’s originality

- project’s innovation

- project’s implementability 

- project’s elaboration 

- project’s scalability 

The contest jury members: 

Raimbek Batalov, Head of the Raimbek Holding, top management of the Raimbek Holding, the Enactus Kazakhstan national office.
