Sports and healthy lifestyle is is a priority in Raimbek company. We do support professional and amateur sports and we attract more and more healthy lifestyle practitioners.

Raimbek Batalov has also been a professional sportsman, been doing diving for a many years, he is now actively competing in cycle-competitions, doing tennis and alpine-ski. He is the First Vice-President of Kazakhstan Cycling Federation.

In march 2016, young Almaty athletes have got 45 new bicycles, that has been presented by the Raimbek company. In 2014 we have organized collective training of young athletes of Almaty and Almaty region cycling schools with such stars as Fabio Aru and Alexander Vinokurov with Astana Pro Team. Beginning athletes have ridden side by side to Medeo together with their professional colleagues for Astana ProTeam.

With support of Raimbek company kids from boarding school from Astana has visited “Tour of Almaty 2014” - young athletes could see the international level competition live. Raimbek company have acted as sponsor for traditional cycling race «Kazakhstan schoolstudent-2014», and it’s winners have been sent to Europe to watch Astana Pro Team training camp.

In spring of 2016 году Raimbek Batalov has initiated to create a  VeloFriends society, which is an open social platform made to unite cycling motion and eco-tourism in Kazakhstan. Main goal of  VeloFriends – is to unify different efforts and initiatives for more effective achievements of global targets regarding the development of cycling in country. This society doesn’t have a constant membership and anyone who wish can join this initiative.

Also in 2016 have been created the same Fund of Cycling development, main goal of which – support of amateur cycling in Kazakhstan, involving society into healthy lifestyle, making the cycling routes, promotion of cycling as sustainable  transport and etc.

In 2017 fund has equipped few mountain routes in Almaty region which is suitable for hikers and mountain bikers it is –  «Аkbulak» in Talgar ravine, Kokzhailau and "Japanese road" in Almarasan ravine. 

We have supported participation  of Almaty bicycle activist Alexander Gabchenko at the second Moscow bicycle Congress, which is platform for communication of all stakeholders  who is interested in promotion of cycling and creating a comfort and safe conditions for cycling in cities.

We provide financial support for competitions. In 2017 we have supported tenth annual “Jeyran Trophy” cycling competitions ( annual multi-day mtb race the takes place in Almaty region, includes more than 250 km distance, 5000 m of altitude change in 3 days). 

We have supported tenth annual kids cycling competitions Tour de Kids for kids age 2 to 7. Over 200 kids were participating in competition.

In August 2017 we have acted as main organizer of third open Republican road cycling  championship for amateurs and “Masters” category. Competition had included three disciplines: individual race, group race and criterium. 

In summer 2017 we have supported  Alatau Racing Challenge – amateurs cross country competition took held near Sussian village in mountain area of Almaty oblast with key focus on mid - range level.

Our company supported the  Almaty - Issyk-Kul cycling ride for partly blind people organized by public fund " Sport without the borders" for 20 participants.

In September 2017 we invited MTB world champion Kirill Kazantsev and organized open training class in children sport school in Talgar region for 50 young atlets.

In October 2017we supported  Alatau Kok-Tobe amateurs Race. More 50 participants took part in this race with challenging rise and descents in hilly area. 

We finalized the season with joint training of different cycling teams of Almaty like Almaty BroTeam, Alatau Racing Team, VeloHalyk and others. Participants were ricing about  50 km  and finishing near high mountain Medeo ice skating stadium.

In 2017 VeloFriend fund organized different meeting with cycling activists in Almaty and Astana and organized cycling training in velotrek SaryArka in Astana.
